Africa-Press – Cape verde. A total of 2,711 Guineans living in Cabo Verde, spread over eight polling stations on the islands of Santiago, São Vicente, Boa Vista and Sal will choose next Sunday, 4th, the new Government of Guinea Bissau.

The revelation was made by the president of the Regional Commission for Elections for the Diaspora/Cape Verde, Fernando Pinto, who assured that “everything is ready” for the seventh legislative elections on Sunday in Guinea-Bissau, to which 20 parties and two coalitions are competing.

Of the 2,711 voters, he added that Praia is the municipality with the most subscribers, with 54%, followed by the island of Sal with 21%, Boa Vista with 17%, Santa Catarina with 4%, São Vicente 3% and Santa Cruz with 2% of the electorate.

Pinto also explained that the officials and delegates are already on the islands of Sal, Boa Vista and Sao Vicente, where each will have a polling station
