In this game counting for the third round of group C of the National Football Championship, played at Estádio Aquiles Oliveira, in the City of Nova Cintra, Ilha Brava, the winning goal came in the second half through Téo.

Morabeza consolidates leadership of group C with seven points
With today’s victory, the Morabeza team reinforces the leadership of group C with seven points, after having beaten Académica do Mindelo by 2-1 in the first round of the National Football Championship, played on 21 April, at Estádio Aquiles da ‘Oliveira, in the city of Nova Cintra, Ilha Brava, and the 1-1 tie with Varandinha do Tarrafal de Santiago, in a match for the second round, on April 29, at Estádio da Cidade do Tarrafal, Ilha de Santiago.
The other group C game will be played on Sunday the 14th between Académica do Mindelo, which defends the title of champion of Cape Verde won last season (2021-2022) and Varandinha do Tarrafal de Santiago, two-time regional champion of football in Santiago Norte.
