Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cabo Verde will be represented in theTunis 2022 World Para Athletics – Grand Prix, from 23th to 30th this month in Tunisia, by paralympic athletes Marilson Semedo, disabled, and by the athletes with visual impairment Heidilene Oliveira and Jailson Andrade Correia and their respective guides.

According to Inforpress findings, the Olympic athlete, Marilson Semedo, born in São Domingos, with physical disability in the lower limb, will compete in the Javelin and Discus.

Gold medallist at the African Games, Marilson Semedo is at his best moment, as in May he broke the new national record in javelin in the category of of weight of 4kg with a throw 9.90 meters, on the 1kg discus with a range of 37.03 meters and the 600-gram dart reaching 35.15 meters.

The athlete with visual impairment Heidilene Oliveira, from São Vicente, will compete in athletics, in the speed category of 100, 200 and 400 meters, in the company of her guide, Jailson Oliveira, athlete also from São Vicente.
