Africa-Press – Cape verde. The ship Praia d’Aguada completed its sea trials and technical inspection on Monday, the 29th, conducted by the Maritime and Port Institute (IMP). According to the Ministry of Tourism and Transport, certification and the start of operations are imminent.
In a statement, the Ministry of Tourism and Transport affirms that its entry into operation within the inter-island maritime transport system is planned.
With the integration of the Praia d’Aguada, the islands of Fogo, Brava, and Maio will have new alternatives for passenger and cargo transport, reinforcing mobility, connectivity, and territorial cohesion.
