The Prime Minister, Ulisses Correia e Silva, said that the Government continues to be available to collaborate with the City Council for the development of the Municipality of Praia, stating that he expects the same attitude of the local authority led by Francisco Carvalho.
Urged by Inforpress to leave a message to the citizens of Praia on the occasion of the commemoration of another anniversary of the municipality, Ulisses Correia started by asking the people of Praia to continue to bet on the municipality.
“Every time an anniversary is celebrated it is also a time for celebration and I hope that everyone participates and we continue to invest in our municipality,” said Ulisses Correia e Silva, who was mayor of Praia, elected in the lists of the Movement for Democracy (MpD), from June and 2008 to January 2016
As for relations between the Government and the City Council, currently led by Francisco Carvalho, from the Partido Africano da Independência de Cabo Verde PAICV ( African Party of Independence of Cabo Verde) , Ulisses Correia e Silva said that its Executive has institutional relations with all municipalities.
