University of Cape Verde (Uni-CV), lacks a studio equipped to better train future professionals in the area of communication – Coordinator

Africa-Press – Cape verde. The coordinator of the Communication Sciences course at the University of Cape Verde (Uni-CV), pointed out today the need for a studio equipped to better prepare students in the area for the new trends and challenges of the current market.

Silvino Évora spoke to Inforpress on the side-lines of the first symposium on journalism and multimedia under the motto: “New trends in journalism and communication”, taking place at Uni-CV, whose primary objective is to train and prepare the entire academic community so that they can be “better prepared” to change and revolutionize the market.

For the person in charge, the greatest challenges that the university has been facing in the communication sciences sector is the lack of a studio for students to have a deeper contact about what they will find, in fact, in the workplace.

“(…) We need an incorporation between computer labs, another studio component that would allow students to make many simulations of practices especially in the field of television, radio, digital field, we need to have more equipment and in this aspect we have deficiency”, said the coordinator.
