Africa-Press – Eswatini. Velents.ai, an Egypt–Saudi Arabia-based artificial intelligence startup, has secured USD 1.5 million in funding to introduce Agent.sa, the first fully integrated Arabic-speaking AI employee designed for enterprises across the Middle East.

Established in 2021 by Mohamed Gaber and Abdulaziz Almuhaydib, Velents started as an intelligent recruitment platform before transitioning in 2023 into a comprehensive enterprise AI company. Its latest innovation, Agent.sa, is built to operate like a human employee—managing calls, WhatsApp chats, data processing, and customer inquiries seamlessly in natural Arabic.

The funding round attracted contributions from angel investors, including top executives from Google, BCG, and other international companies. According to Velents, Agent.sa can connect with more than 20 platforms ranging from CRMs to payment systems and is adaptable to industries such as banking, telecommunications, and logistics.

Through this launch, Velents seeks to transform business operations across the Arab region by replacing conventional software with AI “co-workers” that communicate in Arabic and boost overall efficiency.
