Africa-Press – Eswatini. Dr. Phil Mnisi, the Governor of the Central Bank of Eswatini(CBE) met with the new IMF Chief of Mission to Eswatini, Ms. Xiangming Li on the sidelines of the IMF/World Bank Group Spring Meetings held in Washington, DC, the financial institution’s online platforms reported.
“The CBE team apprised Li on the economic and financial landscape of Eswatini and discussed other collaborative efforts that the Fund can assist the Bank with.The Governor also had an opportunity to attend the African Union G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting. This meeting aims to give the continent a collective voice in the G20 countries, where Africa is represented under the Chairmanship of South Africa”, reads the online report in part.
