Commerce Minister Lauds Inyatsi Group for Pursuing King’S Vision

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Minister of Commerce, Industry and Trade, Manqoba Khumalo, commended Inyatsi Group Holdings for its commitment to advancing His Majesty King Mswati III’s vision of transforming Eswatini into a first-world nation.

The minister’s remarks came during the Inyatsi Vision Leadership Summit, held at Royal Villas on Monday and Tuesday, where he highlighted the pivotal role that local companies play in the nation’s development trajectory.

Minister Khumalo began his address by reflecting on the ambitious vision laid out by King Mswati III, describing it as a “lofty goal” that serves as a source of inspiration for both individuals and organisations within Eswatini.

“When you listen to His Majesty speak about what he sees for Eswatini, you are left inspired as an individual,” he stated.

The minister expressed his satisfaction with Inyatsi Group Holdings, noting that the organisation embodies the spirit of this vision.

“I am glad that as an organisation you are equally inspired by the fact that His Majesty believes that Eswatini will become a first-world country,” he remarked.

This acknowledgement of Inyatsi’s alignment with national aspirations is particularly significant, given the organisation’s growing influence and success within the region.

Khumalo articulated that the realisation of the King’s vision hinges on the active participation of Eswatini’s people and locally owned enterprises.

“This vision can’t become a reality if the people of Eswatini, the companies that are locally owned, do not make this vision their own,” he asserted.

His call to action resonates with the broader narrative of national pride and self-determination, urging local businesses to take ownership of their role in the country’s future.

Highlighting Inyatsi Group’s achievements, the minister noted that the company has established itself as a formidable force within the African continent.

“This is an Eswatini-owned company that is making inroads into the continent, and I do believe, not in the distant future, beyond the continent,” he said.

Khumalo’s message was clear: local companies must adopt a global mindset. “You should think big and think outside of Eswatini,” he urged, reinforcing the idea that local enterprises have the potential to compete on an international scale.

He expressed his enthusiasm for Inyatsi’s initiatives that reflect the King’s vision, stating, “I’m so happy that Inyatsi’s translation of His Majesty’s vision has resulted in some of these activities already being done.”

The minister reiterated the importance of a global approach to business operations. “Therefore, it makes sense that you call yourselves Africa’s leading integrated business partner.

So, don’t think small. Act globally in your approach. If it’s a service, how does this service become transferable to other parts of the world? How is this service relevant to other parts of the continent?”
