According to Dlamini, the workshop will be facilitated by two experienced business and finance journalists from South Africa and forms part of the bank’s 30 Acts of Help Campaign as it continues to celebrate its 30 years of operations in Eswatini. “As FNB Eswatini, we have been celebrating our 30th birthday with one unshakable promise, “Sitintile Eswatini futsi asiyindzawo.” This promise has challenged us to think intensely about how we bring it to life across various sectors of society in Eswatini and I am elated that it has led us to this point pertaining the local journalism industry,” he said.

Twenty business reporters from across ten media houses in Eswatini will participate in the full-day workshop today.

Meanwhile, at the same event yesterday, the bank honoured 18 currently serving journalists in local newsrooms who graduated from various educational courses in 2025. Before handing out individual hampers to all 18 journalists, CEO Thokozani ‘TK’ Dlamini said the bank valued the power of education. “As a bank, we firmly believe in the power of education to bring about good in society and we are always excited to see people develop themselves. We are proud of you for working hard to develop yourselves and attaining these qualifications. We have no doubt that you will play your role in developing not just journalism but also our beautiful Kingdom,” he said.
