ESHEC Acting CEO Dr Motsa Resigns to Reconnect

Africa-Press – Eswatini. Dr Ncamsile Motsa, the Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Eswatini Higher Education Council (ESHEC) has left the position after her six (6) months contract came to an end.

Speaking on Friday, Dr Motsa said she did not apply for the vacant position adding that, she wanted to breathe and reconnect with herself.

“I’ve been to hell and back. It’s time to breathe and reconnect with myself,” she said.

The Eswatini Higher Education Council under the Ministry of Education and Training was established under the Higher Education Act of 2013 to regulate, register, and accredit higher education institutions in Eswatini.

It ensures quality assurance through institutional audits, standards development, and promotes, as well as accredits, academic programmes to meet national socio-economic needs.
