Africa-Press – Eswatini. The community of Esandleni is in for an action-packed weekend as the constituency hosts its much-anticipated Sports Day this Saturday, 16 August 2025, at Enkhundleni Sports Ground.
Football fans will be treated to exciting matches featuring local teams, showcasing the region’s rising talent and competitive spirit. Among the participants will be Nsingizini FC, the team currently campaigning in the Shiselweni Super League not to be confused with their Premier League namesakes. Other matches include Esandleni U20 vs Shiselweni U20, followed by the Ministry of sports against Esandleni social team, and lastly Nsingizini hotspurs FC against Esandleni Pick-team.
Adding to the lively atmosphere, the day will feature live performances from a star-studded entertainment lineup, headlined by renowned artist Siphiwo “Ndoni” Ndlangamandla, alongside talented Maskandi musicians and other performers.
The event will be further graced by the Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs, Bongani Nzima, whose presence is expected to inspire and encourage community participation in sports and cultural activities.
Organisers say the Sports Day is aimed at uniting the community, promoting sports development, and giving young athletes a platform to showcase their skills while offering families and supporters a memorable day out.
