Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Eswatini Business Health and Wellness (EBH) team is leading the way in promoting workplace well-being across the country. On August 25, 2025, EBH carried out a detailed health and wellness survey at the Hlane Royal Arena construction site, operated by Stefanutti Stocks.
The initiative assessed key aspects of employee wellness, including physical health, mental resilience, financial management skills, and overall job satisfaction. Workers participated in confidential surveys and interactive sessions designed to identify the unique needs of the construction workforce.
According to EBH, the insights gained will shape future wellness programmes that directly address challenges in the sector. Planned interventions include on-site health screenings, fitness programmes, and stress management workshops, all aimed at creating a healthier, safer, and more productive workforce.
Stefanutti Stocks, one of Eswatini’s leading construction firms, facilitated the survey as part of its long-term commitment to employee welfare. The company emphasised that integrating wellness into daily operations is not just beneficial for employees but also vital for business sustainability.
“This collaboration sets a positive benchmark for the entire industry,” EBH stated, highlighting the transformative impact of prioritising health and wellness in the workplace.
In addition, Netcom recently launched its own comprehensive Health and Wellness Programme on August 11, 2025. The initiative featured engaging sessions on preventive healthcare, mental well-being, and the value of workplace wellness. Employees actively participated, underscoring the growing recognition of workplace wellness as a foundation for productivity.
With a focus on reducing absenteeism, enhancing workplace culture, and empowering staff to embrace healthier lifestyles, Netcom’s initiative reflects the wider momentum towards employee-centered growth strategies.
“Healthy Worker, Healthy Business is more than a slogan – it’s a strategy for long-term success,” Netcom affirmed, urging other companies to adopt similar measures for the collective benefit of Eswatini’s workforce.
