Africa-Press – Eswatini. The Shiselweni Derby between MTN Premier League tittle challengers Nsingizini Hotspurs and Rangers is billed for Saturday at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium, kick-off 3pm.
This derby has become one of the biggest under the Premier League of Eswatini (PLE) since both teams made their debut in the elite four years ago.
Nsingizini Hotspurs who are second on the MTN Premier League were the last man standing in their last fixture against their rivals, Rangers winning 2-1 with over 2 000 fans in attendance on January 5, 2025 at King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium.
Nsingizini are more under pressure for the maximum points to keep themselves in the race for the title as log leaders Royal Leopard will be playing Manzini Sea Birds at Mhlume Stadium also on Saturday with the match starting at 3pm.
The Royal Eswatini Police Services (REPS) side, Royal Leopard has 55 points with two games remaining while Nsingizini Hotspurs are a point behind (54 points).
The PLE released the fixtures with all games to be played on Saturday with six fixtures to kick-off at the same time, 3pm. The only fixture to kick-off earlier is between Moneni Pirates and Ezulwini United that will start play at 12:30pm in the only double header under the match-day 25. The next game will see Mbabane Swallows hosting Young Buffaloes at 3pm.
