Africa-Press – Eswatini. United Holdings has paid a glowing tribute to its outgoing brand ambassadors, beloved Eswatini entertainers Gogo the Comedian and S’lwane, during a heartfelt appreciation ceremony held in Manzini on Friday, 12 December 2025.
The event marked the close of a successful three-year partnership that began in 2022 and has since strengthened the company’s engagement with Emaswati across the country.
Group Chief Executive Officer Nelisiwe De Sousa delivered the keynote address, describing the moment as one filled with gratitude, reflection, and immense pride. She praised the ambassadors for their role in elevating United Holdings’ brand visibility and helping the company communicate with authenticity and warmth.
“From the beginning, our intention was to work with voices that resonate with our people – authentic, relatable, and rooted in our communities,” she said. “Gogo and S’lwane delivered exactly that. Through your creativity, professionalism, and cultural alignment, you elevated our brand and connected us to the nation.”
De Sousa highlighted that the partnership had been impactful and mutually rewarding throughout its four-year duration. She emphasised that although the ambassadorial chapter had come to a close, the transition was positive, respectful, and grounded in mutual appreciation. She added that the company remained open to future collaborations whenever strategic opportunities arise.
Both entertainers expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity to work with the company. Gogo the Comedian, born Mduduzi Nkambule, thanked United Holdings for trusting him with a national brand, saying the partnership allowed him to grow creatively while uplifting communities.
S’lwane, real name Ncamiso Ntshingila, praised the company for its professionalism and its commitment to empowering Eswatini creatives, adding that the experience reaffirmed the important role of local talent within corporate spaces.
In closing, De Sousa reaffirmed United Holdings’ dedication to customer-focused communication, innovation, and strengthening product awareness. She extended best wishes to both ambassadors as they embark on new opportunities, concluding a memorable and inspiring chapter in the company’s journey.
