The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has announced the departure of its President, Babadie Kamara, and Acting General Secretary, Mohamed Benson Bawoh, to Praia, Cape Verde, where they will attend the West African Football Union Zone A (WAFU-A) General Assembly scheduled for Saturday, 13th September 2025.
The annual gathering is expected to bring together football leaders from across the sub-region to deliberate on governance, competitions, and strategies for advancing the sport in West Africa.
SLFA officials say Sierra Leone’s participation underscores the country’s ongoing commitment to regional cooperation and its active role in shaping football development across the continent.
The General Assembly serves as a crucial platform for member associations to address shared challenges and explore opportunities to strengthen the game at both regional and international levels.
