Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The National Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NPRA) secured a vital 1-0 victory over the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) on Friday, October 24, 2025, to take the top spot in Group D of the ongoing inter-MDA Football Gala.
The gala, organized by the Ministry of Sports and the National Sports Authority (NSA), is aimed at fostering good working relationships, increasing physical exercise among government workers, and reducing bureaucracy between Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
With two matches played, the NPRA now leads Group D with six points, while the MFAIC holds three points.
In the day’s second fixture, the Electricity Distribution Supply Authority (EDSA) played to a 2-2 draw with the Bank of Sierra Leone (BSL). This result earned the BSL their first point in the competition after a 5-2 defeat to State House in their opening match.
Today’s matches, all hosted at the National Stadium Practice Field, include:
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) hosting the Sierra Leone Immigration Department.
Sierra Leone Maritime going head-to-head with the Office of the Vice President.
The NSA, which co-organizes the event, was established by an Act of Parliament in 2017 with the mandate to promote, develop, and supervise all sports and sporting activities in Sierra Leone.
