Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Abdul Karim Kamara (AKK) Esq., a senior member of the opposition All-People’s Congress (APC), has issued a strong warning that the party will no longer tolerate what it describes as intimidation and attempts to subvert the people’s will.
Speaking during a radio interview, Kamara declared that the current APC is “fundamentally different” from the party that contested the 2023 elections, which the APC has previously claimed were rigged.
He presented the party’s position as a conditional offer: “If they want peace; so, shall it be.” However, he warned that if the ruling Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) attempts to manipulate electoral outcomes, the APC would “reciprocate in ten folds.”
Kamara concluded by affirming that “democracy will prevail” and called on supporters to defend their votes through lawful political action.
The statement frames the party’s tougher posture as a response to historical grievances from the 2023 polls.
