Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. Peter Komba, a fast-rising digital creator and actor, has been announced as a TED Talk speaker at the 2025 Sierra Leone Innovates Digital Government Summit. The event is schedule to take place from June 3 to June 6, 2025, at the Freetown International Conference Centre.
Hosted by the Ministry of Communication, Technology and Innovation under the Office of the Vice President, the summit brings together voices shaping the future of tech and digital life in Sierra Leone.
Peter is currently a student at Fourah Bay College. He became known for his acting skills through is TikTok skits, but his professional breakthrough came in April 2022 with a comedy skit titled Sierra Leone Visitor. That project opened the door to Nollywood, where he has since appeared in several movies including Sandwiched, Lovers and Foes, English Man, and more.
He is best known for his roles in Sierra Leonean films like The Scuffle and April 27, as well as Nigerian productions such as Lovers add Foes and English Man. Many of these are currently trending on YouTube, where Peter has shared the screen with actors like Chioma Nwaoha and Ekene Onochie.
Peter has also built a strong presence on TikTok and was named a TikTok Ambassador by TikTokers Sierra Leone. With one of the largest followings in the country, he is widely seen as a leading content creator in the digital space.
At the summit, he will deliver a TED Talk titled “More Than Likes: What It Takes to Succeed as a Digital Creator,” offering a look into his journey, work ethic, and creative process.
