Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. President Julius Maada Bio has received the German Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Jens Kraus-Masse, at State House for a farewell visit as the diplomat prepares to conclude his assignment in the country.

The meeting marked the end of Ambassador Kraus-Masse’s time in Sierra Leone, during which relations between the two countries continued to grow through development cooperation, diplomatic engagement, and ongoing support in key areas.

President Bio thanked the ambassador for his service and expressed the government’s intention to continue building on the relationship between Sierra Leone and Germany. He noted the importance of maintaining the friendship and ongoing work between both countries.

Ambassador Kraus-Masse is expected to depart after completing his duties, and President Bio welcomed the idea of a future visit back to Sierra Leone.
