Africa-Press – Sierra-Leone. The Transition Committee (TC) of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) has presented its preliminary findings to the Association’s Executive Committee, senior management, and staff as part of its ongoing institutional review.
The exit meeting with the Executive Committee was held today, following a similar engagement with senior management and staff on Tuesday, 26 August 2025. The review, according to the Committee, aims to assess the SLFA’s governance structure, operational efficiency, and overall accountability.
During the session, the Executive Committee expressed appreciation for the Committee’s work and welcomed the prospect of reform within the Association. Staff members also acknowledged the review process, underscoring the need for improved capacity-building programs, better organizational planning, and more transparent management systems.
The Transition Committee, while noting that the findings are still preliminary, emphasized the urgency of implementing corrective measures to restore confidence in SLFA’s operations. The Committee indicated that its full report would be finalized after further consultations.
