Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE President of Mozambique, Daniel Chapo, arrived in Zanzibar today from Dar es Salaam as part of his brief official visit to Tanzania.
Upon his arrival at the Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, President Chapo was received by Hamza Hassan Juma, the Minister of State in the Office of the Second Vice President, along with other government officials, including the Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo
During his visit to the Isles, President Chapo is expected to hold talks with Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, the President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, and also tour the Deep Sea Fishing Centre in Fumba.
This visit aims to strengthen the diplomatic, economic, and social ties between Tanzania and Mozambique.
