Africa-Press – Tanzania. THE CCM National Executive Committee Member and Prime Minister, Kassim Majaliwa has called on the people to elect the Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM) presidential candidate and other candidates of the party by October 29, 2025.
The Prime Minister said this while launching the Nachingwea constituency parliamentary campaigns held at the maegesho ya malori grounds in Nachingwea.
Speaking during the launch, Majaliwa said that if CCM leaders are elected, they will proceed to implement the CCM election manifesto for the year 2025/2030 and enable Nachingwea to continue its rapid development.
“Come out in large numbers to vote by October 29, go and elect President Dr. Samia with a majority of votes, also elect Fadhili Liwaka, we should not sleep, even if he is the only candidate, go and put your vote when the time comes”.
Mr Majaliwa said that Ruangwa and Nachingwea Districts have continued to benefit from development projects including a major water project from Nyangao, Ruangwa to Nachingwea which is currently being implemented.
“This project that will benefit the villages of Ruangwa and Nachingwea will cost 119bn/-”.
Mr Majaliwa also said that the government has already provided funds for the construction of a road from Ruangwa to Nachingwea.
In another step, Mr Majaliwa said that he has worked closely with Liwaka for a long time, and he knows him for his hard work and believes that he will dedicate himself to the development of the people of Nachingwea. I know Liwaka, he knows how to work hard”
For his part, the parliamentary candidate for Nachingwea constituency, Fadhili Liwaka has said that during his term he will focus on development sectors including Infrastructure, Education, Health, Agriculture and Livestock.
“Honorable Prime Minister, one of my biggest desires in the infrastructure sector is the construction of the Nachingwea to Masasi road to asphalt level, in addition to this, education is a big agenda I have. I want to reduce the number of students, especially girls, who sleep at home and go to school in the morning by building dormitories”.
Also, Liwaka has said that one of his biggest dreams is to ensure that he ends conflicts between farmers and herders. “Honorable Prime Minister, I wish one day we can have a celebration where herders bring cows for us to slaughter and farmers bring maize for us to cook and celebrate”.
