Africa-Press – Tanzania. TANZANIA’S unmatched wildlife, rich culture, and breathtaking landscapes have captured the hearts of nearly 120 travel agents from the United States.
The agents, visiting the country for the first time, were hosted in a special program organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism to showcase the nation’s tourism potential.
Speaking at a dinner event on November 7, 2025, Mr Justin Alfred, the CEO of Excellent Guide Tours and Safaris, said the agents were thrilled by Tanzania’s natural beauty and safe environment.
“Seeing elephants, giraffes, lions, and buffaloes up close has been an unforgettable experience. Tanzania is safe, and our people are incredibly welcoming. I encourage the world to visit and experience this wonder,” he said.
The visit is part of a broader effort to position Tanzania as a top African destination.
By giving international travel agents firsthand exposure to the country’s attractions, the Ministry aims to increase global awareness and tourism arrivals.
For Patricia Walker from Nexion Travel, visiting Tanzania was a dream come true. “I have wanted to see Serengeti National Park since I was five. The warm hospitality and professional services I’ve received are extraordinary. This experience will stay with me forever,” she said.
Serengeti National Park Chief, Senior Assistant Commissioner for Conservation Stephano Msumi, thanked the agents for visiting and encouraged them to act as tourism ambassadors in their home countries.
“Your stories and recommendations will inspire others to explore Tanzania safely and responsibly,” he said.
The visit highlights Tanzania’s growing role in Africa’s tourism landscape, proving that with its world-class wildlife, vibrant culture, and hospitable people, the country is ready to welcome more international visitors than ever before.
