Africa-Press – Tanzania. TANZANIA’S Vice President, Dr Emmanuel Nchimbi, has assured Southern African Development Community (SADC) Member States that Tanzania under Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan’s presidency is committed to ensure the reconciliation process is successful in order to have a peaceful and united Tanzania that has been an example of stability in Africa and the world at large.
The Vice President said this while representing the President at the Emergency Summit of Heads of State and Government of the community held online, while in Dodoma.
“Tanzania is safe and secure and is ready to continue receiving visitors from all over the world for the benefit of all countries.
The meeting also congratulated President Samia for the victory he achieved.
The meeting agreed to continue using the motto of the 45th SADC Summit held in Madagascar, which is “Strengthening Industry, Agricultural Revolution, Energy Transition for a Resilient SADC”
It was chaired by the President of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa and attended by Heads of State and Government and representatives from 15 SADC countries.
