AfricaPress-Tanzania: Young Africans Sports Club’s Executive Committee (EXCOM) has immediately suspended acting Secretary General and; the Head of Legal and Member, Mr Patrick Simon.
According to a press statement issued by the club’s Chairman Dr Mshindo Msolla, the decision was reached at an emergency EXCOM meeting held in Dar es Salaam on November 17, 2020.
Dr Msolla said the meeting was held to specifically “deliberate on the issues and allegations raised against Mr Patrick Simon.”
In the interest of fair practice, the club’s statement added, the committee will appoint an independent committee to investigate all allegations leveled against the lawyer.
“The EXCOM is looking forward to receiving the final report from the committee and finalise this matter expediently,” Dr Msolla insisted in the statement.
