Africa-Press – Angola. The country produced 32,074,313 barrels of oil last August, representing a production of 1,112,861 barrels daily.

According to the National Agency of Petroleum, Gas, and Biofuels (ANPG), the average of last month’s daily production was 1,034,655 barrels.

The initial daily production estimate for August was 1,086,727 barrels.

In August, Angola’s withdrawals reached 31,908,355 barrels, corresponding to an average of 1,029,302 barrels of oil per day, compared to the projected 962,903.

The Concessionaire carried out the survey of 12,129,202 barrels, corresponding to 38% of the total, SNL UNEP 4,078,493 barrels (13%) and SNL E.P 1,757,230 barrels (6%).

Of the total surveys described, 30,441,284 barrels corresponded to exports and 1,467,71 barrels to deliveries to the Luanda Refinery.

During the month of August, 12 drilling units were in operation, and work was carried out on 26 wells: one exploration well, two injection development wells, 23 production development wells, eight suspended wells, and one abandoned well.

Consequently, associated gas production reached 81,696,000 cubic feet, corresponding to a daily average of 2,635,000 cubic feet, in which, 1,402 were reinjected to maintain reservoir pressure, 962 were supplied to the ALNG plant, and 307 were used for power generation at oil facilities.

The Angola LNG plant produced 4,936,748 barrels of oil equivalent (BOE), compared to the projected 4,523,766, representing a 9% increase.

During the aforementioned period, a daily average of 159,250 barrels of BOE was recorded, of which 136,486 were LNG, 9,885 were propane, 7,444 were butane, and 5,435 were condensate.

According to the ANPG, LPG production was 399,414 barrels, equivalent to a daily average of 12,884, broken down into 7,487 barrels of propane, 5,277 barrels of butane, and 371 barrels of onshore LPG.
