Africa-Press – Angola. The Spiritual Leader of the Tocoista Church Dom Afonso Nunes was distinguished in Paris, France, with the first Euro-African prize for Professional Training and Valuation of Skills and Talents of the Diaspora in Europe.
According to a press note sent this Wednesday, the event held on the 26th of this May was promoted by the African Confederation, Professional Training, Technical Education and Innovation (CADETFOP), headquartered in Franca, which was based on the commitment and contribution that the leader of the Tocoista church has carried out in the area of education and teaching.
The note states that the leader’s actions also extend to the area of professional training and technical education, at national and international level, where the church is officially represented.
According to the document, the award ceremony was witnessed by several guests from various countries in Europe and Angola.
The Tocoista Church has a school network in the basic, medium and higher education system, which aims to promote and encourage professional training for young people and combat unemployment.
CADETFOPI is the second International Non-Governmental Organization that makes this recognition, after the Brazilian NGO AFROBBRAS, Afro-Brazilian Society for Socio-Cultural Development, awarded Bishop Dom Afonso Nunes with the Black Race Trophy, in 2012, in the city of São Paul.GIZ.MAG.
