Africa-Press – Angola. Held over four days to celebrate the 69th anniversary of the city of Ndalatando, Expo/Cuanza-Norte recorded a turnover of more than 700 million kwanzas in various areas.
According to Carlos Calas, head of the company organizing the event, the fair, which featured 220 exhibitors, attracted more than 18,000 visitors and saw the sale of around 80 tons of agricultural products.
With an area of 25,000 square meters, the event, which was attended by exhibitors from the provinces of Luanda, Cabinda, Namibe, Uíge, Malanje, Huambo, Benguela, and the 17 municipalities of Cuanza-Norte, created 550 indirect and temporary jobs.
Several exhibitors from different sectors, mainly from the agriculture and machinery industries took part in the event.
