Africa-Press – Angola. The Sagrada Esperança main team began preparing for the 2025/26 football season on Wednesday (07), with the first training session prioritizing the players’ physical recovery after a long break.
The coaching staff, led by Argentine Gustavo Onaindia, prioritized muscle reactivation and the progressive readaptation of the athletes to the competitive rhythm for one and a half hour.
At the kick off of the pré-season, the coach had the presence of 24 of the 36 players who made up the squad.
The team will spend two weeks in Dundo for the first phase of the pre-competitive training camp and will then travel to Benguela, where they plan to play 5 friendly matches against Wiliete, 1° de Maio, and Académica do Lobito.
Next season, scheduled to begin in September, Sagrada Esperança will compete in the “Girabola” National Championship of the first division and the Angola Cup.
