Africa-Press – Burkina Faso. The new ministerial treasurer of the Ministry of Defense, Moussa Ouédraogo, pledged, Friday, during his installation, to serve with loyalty and rigor to improve recovery within his department.
« By taking up the position of Ministerial Treasurer of Defense, I fully appreciate the responsibility entrusted to me, » declared Mr. Ouédraogo.
He reaffirmed his desire to contribute to rigorous and efficient management of the ministry’s finances, in a spirit of loyalty and performance.
The new treasurer, now in charge of the finances of the Ministry of Defense and Veterans Affairs, specified that his missions include the payment of the department’s expenses, as well as the collection of revenues through the provision of collection tools for the benefit of the units concerned.
« Aware of the challenges, I am requesting the support of the highest authorities and all of the collaborators for the success of his mission, » he said.
Outgoing specialist tax collector Martin Ouédraogo, in office since 2021, was congratulated for his loyal service to the nation.
