Africa-Press. The twelfth edition of the Africa Investment and Trade Forum has been inaugurated in the capital of Algeria, with a notable presence of economic actors, experts, and financial and developmental institutions from several African countries.
This economic event is organized by a local source in partnership with the African Union and the African Export-Import Bank, in addition to the secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area.
The organization of this forum comes in the context of the African continent’s direction towards enhancing economic integration and developing trade exchanges among African countries, especially with the activation of the continental free trade area.
The forum will last for two days and will witness the signing of several agreements and economic partnerships between African institutions and entities, aiming to transition from the exchange of ideas to the realization of practical projects and productive investments on the ground.
Participants will also focus on ways to facilitate access to African markets, support intra-African trade, and create a more flexible business environment that aligns with the economic transformations occurring on the continent.
The forum aims to contribute to achieving the goals of the Africa Agenda 2063, which prioritizes economic integration and the enhancement of African investments, allowing for the construction of a more integrated and competitive African economy on a global scale.
