Africa-Press – Eswatini. Throngs of maidens yesterday arrived at Mbangweni Royal Residence for the Shiselweni Umhlanga (Reed Dance) Ceremony to take place today and tomorrow.
Despite the cold weather, the maidens came in numbers and they were being dropped at the reception area by buses and trucks in the evening.
The Shiselweni Reed Dance marks the second leg after the national Reed Dance Ceremony was held in August.

They registered at the arrival and as norm they are expected to today start delivering their reed and dancing in readiness for the main day tomorrow.
