In the final match, Sierra Leone chose to field first, allowing Rwanda to bat and set a target. Rwanda made good use of their time at the crease and scored 135 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their 20 overs. The team’s batters built partnerships throughout their batting to reach a competitive total.

When it was Sierra Leone’s turn to bat, they faced a strong bowling and fielding attack from Rwanda. The team struggled to keep scoring steadily, and wickets fell regularly. Sierra Leone was bowled out for 84 runs, falling short of the target by 51 runs. Rwanda’s bowlers kept up the pressure throughout Sierra Leone’s batting effort, ensuring the match remained in their control.

With the win, Rwanda claimed the ICC Women’s T20 Africa Division 2 Qualifier title. Both Rwanda and Sierra Leone earned promotion to Division 1 of the Africa qualifiers, moving one step closer to competing in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
