Africa-Press – Angola. 1o de Agosto team moved up to second place in the Angolan National Football Championship (Girabola 2025-26)’s standing, with 15 points, after beating Guelson FC 3-2 on Saturday in a rescheduled match from the 2nd round, played at the França Ndalu stadium in Luanda.
Playing at home, the “military” team was already winning 1-0 at halftime.
Rubson, Kalebi and Tombe scored for 1o de Agosto, while Kikas and Wilson scored for the debutant Guelson.
The competition is led by Recreativo do Libolo, with 16 points, while Guelson FC is last in the standings with three points.
