At the meeting, the Chinese company iMedway Technology Co. Ltd. presented a comprehensive plan aimed at integrating information technologies into hospital management and clinical care in Angola.

On the occasion, the Chinese delegation emphasized that digitalization must go hand in hand with investments in hospital infrastructure to ensure greater efficiency, quality, and sustainability of services provided to the population.
“With over two decades of experience developing technological solutions for the healthcare sector, iMedway has already operated in several African countries and is committed to supporting Angola with training programs for national staff and technology transfer,” the statement reads.
The report adds that the company also expressed a desire to cooperate closely with the Angolan government and international financial institutions to facilitate structural projects.
For iMedway representatives, Angola meets the conditions to become a continental benchmark in digital innovation in the healthcare sector, highlighting this moment as a strategic opportunity to drive technological development and improve public health indicators.
