CAF Rejects Request to Postpone Champions League Matches

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has rejected a request from North African clubs to postpone the second round matches of the African Champions League and Confederation Cup, which precede the Arab Cup for national teams.

CAF confirmed its commitment to holding the matches on their original dates without any adjustments.

According to the official schedule, the second round matches will take place on Friday and Saturday, November 28 and 29, requiring teams to participate at the specified times.

This decision places players from Wydad Athletic Club, RS Berkane, and Royal Army in a difficult position, as they will need to be with their teams for the continental matches before joining the national team camp in preparation for the match against Comoros on December 2, as part of the Arab Cup.
