New star of the Algerian team, Ibrahim Mazza, succeeded in scoring the third goal with a precise header in the 32nd minute.
With a long-range and brilliant shot, Equatorial Guinea’s captain Nsu managed to reduce the score in the 49th minute.
With this victory, Algeria achieved a perfect score, reaching 9 points after winning its first two matches against Sudan (3-0) and Burkina Faso (1-0). Meanwhile, Equatorial Guinea exited the tournament without earning any points after losing all three of its matches.
