Africa-Press. Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi met with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them, with a focus on economic cooperation and joint development serving mutual interests.
The talks also covered a number of regional and international issues of shared concern, foremost among them developments in the Middle East and efforts to address them.
According to the Egyptian presidency, Cairo reiterated its openness to receiving additional Emirati investments, noting that relations between Egypt and the UAE are a cornerstone of Arab national security and regional stability.
The Egyptian president concluded his one-day visit following the meetings.
