In her official address from her office in Tongu on Zanzibar Island, President Samia confirmed that the government has begun practical steps to establish the national reconciliation committee. The committee aims to promote national unity, address the impacts of electoral violence, and prepare a more stable political climate ahead of upcoming elections.
