Africa-Press. The US Department of Justice has released a new set of documents related to American businessman Jeffrey Epstein, including email correspondence from July 2011 that reveals plans connected to Libya.
The emails disclose collusion between Epstein and his partner, “Greg Brown,” to exert pressure on Libyan officials in order to seize state assets under the pretext of “reconstruction” following the war.
The documents indicate that the scheme relied on complicity and assistance from former agents of the British intelligence service MI6 and Israel’s intelligence agency, the Mossad.
In the correspondence, Epstein states that more than $32 billion in Libyan funds are frozen in the United States, stressing the need to work on recovering part of these assets to secure compensation worth billions of dollars, in cooperation with the global law firm Paul Hastings.
