The Real Madrid Foundation is launching an educational football program for the first time in Tunisia, a initiative that will be developed in collaboration with a local sports organization in the city of Carthage. The program will kick off this month and aims to target over 200 boys and girls aged between 5 and 17 years.
The official presentation of the project took place in the city of Real Madrid, attended by Roberto Carlos, a Real Madrid ambassador, alongside a representative from the local sports organization. The meeting provided an opportunity to present details of this new initiative, which marks the foundation’s arrival in Tunisia and reinforces its commitment to developing education through sports.
The project is based on the educational methodology of the Real Madrid Foundation, using football as a tool to promote healthy habits and contribute to the overall development of participants. Through sports practice, students learn values such as respect, teamwork, equality, and motivation to put in effort.
The launch of this program signifies the Real Madrid Foundation’s entry into Tunisia and strengthens its presence in North Africa. Preparations began in May 2026 in collaboration with the local sports organization, the project’s partner. In recent months, facilities have been prepared to host the sports activities, ensuring everything is ready for the start of this inaugural season.
