The third goal for Tunisia came in the 90+5th minute from a counterattack, with Ali Maaloul passing to Mohamed Ben Ali, who made a strong run and shot past the Qatari goalkeeper into the net.
With this victory, Tunisia raised its points total to 4, finishing third in the group and exiting the tournament, while Palestine and Syria advanced with 5 points each. The Qatari team also lost its chance to progress.
