Africa-Press. The Chief of Staff of the Algerian Army, Said Shangriha, stressed that “modern wars and new revolutions in military affairs have created changing contexts of action that require building an innovative strategy in the field of logistical support
In a speech delivered during his supervision of the National Forum on the “operational logistics support chain”, he explained the importance of monitoring the most prominent difficulties and challenges facing this field, and working to find practical solutions to them, in addition to looking forward to future prospects that contribute to the development of the effectiveness of these series in line with the requirements of operational environments and modern battlefields.
He pointed out that the Algerian army is keen to ensure that the rules of readiness that it seeks to achieve on the ground, at the level of the battle, are based on the principle of absolute integration and automatic harmony between the operational and logistical elements, so that this body becomes like a single body, whose performance is not upright except by the integrity of all its members without exception.
“In a world characterized by increasing tensions and the accumulation of technological and military innovations, it has become necessary to build an innovative strategy for operational logistical support, with the aim of adapting to the obligations of the modern battle and achieving the strategic objectives set.”
“Victory is more than ever linked to the ability of the support chain system to provide and ensure the flow of resources and capabilities to the implementation systems, in a timely manner and with the required efficiency.”
